• Ohla Devocìon

New York is also one of my favorite city for its coffee places and restaurants. I used to love Williamsburg so much, I still do but in a different way.  The city changes so much and quickly that sometimes some memories of a neighborhood that you had are not the same anymore when you get back there. It is what happened with Williamsburg. Back in 2011, I was totally in love with this quarter. Small coffee shops, bars, boutiques and vintage stores. Artists were showing off their arts or sculptures on the street and the atmosphere was cheerful and chill out. In 2013, I noticed a soft difference, more tourists…

  • La Vie en Rose

So that was a special day after almost a week back in New York. Forti and I went for a Sunday brunch with a dear friend of mine, Leticia. First, we took a bus from Flatbush Ave. and  the subway towards GreenPoint, in Brooklyn. If you haven’t been to GreenPoint yet, the neighborhood is located up North (Brooklyn) very close to Queens and only a few stops away from Manhattan. It is a lovely area full of cute shops, vintage thrift stores, coffees and restaurants. Also, on Sunday there are a bunch of markets happening in such cool places. Plus, you have an amazing view on the city and its skyline!…

  • Khaki Green with Bubbles

Okay, so this happened two weeks ago, when I attended the Art Exhibition in Geneva called, ArtGenève. If you are familiar with ArtBasel, it is kind of the same. Galleries are showing off paintings, sculptures and installations. To be honest I enjoy art a lot, even though I don’t always understand everything of it. I guess it is part of the game and the most surprising is that I appreciate monochrome paintings… is this weird? Common! Be open minded!  Anyway, I was delightfully invited to spend a lovely evening discovering Art and sip some delicious champagne with Ruinart. I also learnt that little white transparent bottles are not there for drinking, but…

  • Fragranced Cosmetics

They are finally out! I have been waiting for sharing them for two weeks now. I don’t know if you are familiar with Guerlain, the oldest French Maison of perfume and cosmetics. If you are, I am sure that you know the famous fragrance, La Petite Robe Noire. I never wear it, but I always recognize its fresh scent of rose and cherry. Very glamorous and elegant at the same time I love walking by and totally appreciate when someone is wearing  La Petite Robe Noire.  A few products like shower gel and cremes issued from the delicate scent are already available. But for first time, Guerlain offers a cosmetics line…

  • Namaste

It all started five years ago when I left for New York for the second time. I took a gap year between my high school diploma and the beginning of the university. I lived in Brooklyn for half a year, discovered any corners from the city and met some incredible people. Next to this amazing live I started practicing some yoga. But not any kind of yoga, I practiced some Bikram Yoga, also known under Hot Yoga. You might know what Bikram is, but in case not, it is basically practicing every time for 90 minutes the same postures and exercises in a room heated up to 40 degrees. I know…

  • Copper Color

Hello folks! I have to excuse myself, for not posting that often since last week, as you know I am still studying for my exams and trying to do both. A lot do, but I am not forgetting the blog, don’t worry. My days seem to be alike everyday at the library and it has been raining cats and dogs for the past week in Lucerne… great month! Anyway, on Thursday I will attend a beauty an event in Geneva, taking a little break from my studies, I am so looking forward to being there (CANNOT WAIT)!  Also, so many of you have been asking me about this coat.…

  • My Makeup Routine

So, I have been thinking for a while now, I always wanted to share with you my makeup routine. Recently, I talked about my daily steps for my skin, using Chlorys cosmetics, and an amazing daily cream from LaPrairie and some good ones from Estee Lauder as well. I would say that you must find creams which correspond to your skin’s needs.  After applying my serum, anti-aging and daily cream, I usually use a CC Cream from Bobbi Brown SPF 35 (unfortunately I run out of my tube so I don’t have any picture :/). I bought a little smoothing primer from Sephora, that I apply right after my CC cream.…

  • My Routine with CHLORYS

Youth-Revealing Serum Recently, I had the chance to discover and try the new cosmetics brand, CHLORYS, from Geneva, Switzerland. It is always interesting to hear about Swiss products and companies. This one should really interest you, because I am totally addicted to it. I am currently, and have been using the product line, Edelweis, from Chlorys in my daily routine for two months now.  Edeleis is the line made for young skins, from 20 to 35, and I could not be more satisfied. I have a mixte skin, and during winter time my skin dries like crazy. It is really important to me to keep up with a routine and take care about my skin.…

  • Xmas Shopping List at Globus

I love holiday season! Christmas is so joyful! It’s all about spending days with your family, sharing some lovely moments and good food as well ;). Also, it is synonym to me to be in the mountains on the slopes, enjoying the fresh air and the amazing landscape of the Swiss Alps. Christmas is so magical to me. I love walking in any city and being surrounded by incredible shiny decorations and colors that make the end of the year so beautiful and cheerful. In December, I always listen to some jazz music and playlist of Frank Sinatra and Ella Fitzgerald, what else? Also, having a tree well decorated at…

  • Green Velvet Balmain

So as you know, 20 days ago H&M launched their latest capsule collaboration. For this year it was with the french house Balmain that all the fashionistas were cray cray about! I have to admit that I am not a huge fan of Balmain creations in general, but each season offer a few incredible pieces. I am not included in their target group as well, poor little student.. ;) Anyway, I went to the pre-sale organized by H&M Switzerland and Friday Magazine, in Zürich. It was the night before the official launch of the collection (5.11.2015). Unfortunately, I had several events on that night, and I arrived 30 minutes after…
