Sunday Classic Style

Okay peep, I am not making any advertisement for San Pellegrino, just to let you know. Back in Milan, I was super thirsty, and I wanted to stop for drinking something quickly, and the place looked so cute, so we stopped at this place in Brera and started shooting. It was our last day during Milan Fashion Week, and it was a lovely Sunday; sunny and beautiful. No need to mention that Italians are very stylish, and on Sundays, they don’t stay at home in their PJ’s (okay maybe, who knows…) but usually on Sundays they take the time to dress up and take a walk in pretty Milan. People, from kids to elderly persons, are walking by in their elegant clothes and I felt that I should be chic on that Sunday too.

Forti told me that I looked more like a French girl, I don’t really know why he thought so, but I just felt to bring back a more chic outfit. The funny thing is that I am so down for this Fall and Winter inspiration from the kinda after ski style from the 80’s. I saw this short turtleneck from Zara, and with the stripes, I knew that I wanted it. By combining it with a blush skirt and loafers it turned out that the look was actually pretty chic and has not much to do with the après-ski first impression.

Outfit:

Sunnies: Dolce&Gabbana

Turtleneck: Zara

Skirt: Topshop

Bag: Vintage Gucci

Loafers: Uterque

Love this look Sara, it is absolutely adorable…you are making me think that maybe I should shorten a pink skirt of mine.

As for those loafers – I’m off on a golden loafer hunt now although I also saw a fab heeled pair at TopShop that might have to be ordered ;-)
