Black & Golden

Back to Berlin with this blogpost. Obviously, I was already in an Autumn mood, nothing really surprising. I love summer time, the beach, the sun but at a certain point I need to wear some jacket, sweaters, maybe just layering a bit more in order to diversify. Okay I’m not really layerin’ here, but still wearing a comfy and pretty warm look, with golden details. When I got the trousers, I asked myself if I would be like the kind of teenager who grew up to fast in a short period and still wears the same trousers, we would call that “L’eau à la cave” from my French and Vaudois slang. Basically, do my jeans make me look like a 16 years old girl who grew up suddenly and did not have the time or the money to purchase new bottoms? Hopefully I don’t, cause I love the cut of that jeans and I will be wearing it for a long time starting from now on. 

Anyways, to contrast with this dark outfit, I thought I would add some shiny pieces. As I am wearing my pair of glasses from VIU (also black), I thought that wearing the chains as a necklace would be stylish. My sunnies are the result from the collaboration between VIU Eyewear, a Swiss eyewear house and Saskia Diez. She creates incredible pieces of jewelry. Instead of adding the chains to the sunglasses (to hold them), I wore them as a long and double chain necklace. I think it is always cool to use or wear an item in an other way that is supposed to, don’t think so? Let’s be creative!
