What a weekend in Gstaad and Château-d’Oex! Look at these colorful balloons flying smoothly in the sky. I had never been either to Château-d’Oex before or flown in hot air balloons. I was just bursting with excitement. It was the perfect day and weather conditions for an hour – way too short in my opinion, to fly over Swiss mountains. Attending the Famous SIHH 2K17
SIHH or Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie happens once a year (in January) in Geneva and is one of the most famous watches and jewelry fair next to BaselWolrd. If you are Swiss there is no need to precise how important is the watch industry in our country, but if you don’t really know about it, the SIHH is presenting the Richemont group that includes IWC, MontBlanc, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Parmigiani, Audemars Piguet, Cartier, Vacheron Constantin and many more stunning Maisons. You might have realised that I am totally into UBER. Okay, true, I am still waiting for UBER to come to Lucerne. Some people have told me that the whole concept and company is unfair to taximen and their profession, but I am not really okay with this statement. First of all, I am still a student. You might have realized through my Insta feed that pink is quite au Rendez-Vous for this Spring. As if, we could call it springtime in Switzerland. Okay, not true, I just got back from a weekend in Tessin, and in Locarno it was warm and beautiful. The color pink is no longer synonym to this baby girl, but more and more associated with “babe” and her cute side. Pastel pink is simply THE color for this season. Architecture of the Building BaselWorld is like a little world inside of the Swiss city of Basel. Indeed, this little world, as I said, is actually pretty international and multicultural. This is maybe why the fair is so particular in little Switzerland.
