Cafe Henrie
Olalala Cafe Henrie is another new discovery of my latest stay in New York. Be ready, cause I am not done yet to share adventures from my trip in the city. A little Frenchie place in between China Town and Lower East Side. Or the perfect place for having avocado toasts in the coolest atmosphere ever. I was already dying because of the colors of the furnitures in the café. Baby blue turquoise and pastel pink got me crazy and you have not tasted their food yet! Concerning the lighting piece of art, I did not realize what it was until one of the cool waitresses came to me…

Sunday be Like
Happy Easter Monday Guys! I hope you are enjoying your long weekend as I do, or if you are luckier than me you will probably be in a week vacation. Anyways, I still have a few outfits and stories from my trip to New York. I also want to update some videos from my stay there, but it takes me hours of editing so I would probably post all my articles from the city first. This day was actually on Valentine’s day, another article will follow up. It was on Sunday, and we had a blast at the Wythe Hotel in Williamsburg. It was such a nice weather that we…

Missing those Streets
One thing that I especially love about New York City is walking downs the streets in SoHo, NoHo and the villages. I mean, of course MidTown and its buildings are impressive and amazing, but you cannot compare these to the atmosphere in souther neighborhoods. This city gives you so much energy. I swear, your days are longer than anywhere else, and you don’t get to sleep much, but it does not matter, cause you are in New York. I think I never get to walk as much as I do when I am in the city. It was a day with a grey sky and I chose to wear…

Palette NYX
Hollalaaaa, I have never been addicted to palettes, but I have to admit that I know appreciate a good one. The tints are perfect and I guess they will fit my tan for this summer as well. I love using it for my daily contouring routine. Simple, efficient and very easy to use, the powders make a good effect on the skin. And this for the whole day, no need to re-shape your face during the day. Anyway, I find the palette simply wonderful and I would like, you to be able to use it as well. Every girls should have a good contouring kit, Right?! So, for the first…

Sometimes you got to do what you got to do!
New York Fashion Week is one of those moments when you feel outside from the reality. It was even more like a dream. I always dreamt of it and could not believe that I was part of it with all the bloggers that I follow for years. Lacoste Show was one of the shows that I really wished to attend. Unfortunately, I did not get any invitations. I personally don’t know much people in the Fashion and PR industry in New York. I knew the location of the event (Spring Studio) and knew its time as well. It was Saturday 13th February at 10a.m.. I took the subway cause the weather…

Back to Dumbo
If you are visiting New York or even living in the city you should definitely go over bridges and take off to Brooklyn. To be honest I don’t know the Bronx. I know that Astoria, in Queens, is very hype but I have not hung out there that often. Something that I can assure you is that Brooklyn is a great borough. Manhattan is incredible in the way that neighborhoods have their own heritage and personality following the blocs. Brooklyn is just as great as Manhattan or even better. So many different communities live in in this part of the city. Williamsburg is until now, one of the most…

Ohla Devocìon
New York is also one of my favorite city for its coffee places and restaurants. I used to love Williamsburg so much, I still do but in a different way. The city changes so much and quickly that sometimes some memories of a neighborhood that you had are not the same anymore when you get back there. It is what happened with Williamsburg. Back in 2011, I was totally in love with this quarter. Small coffee shops, bars, boutiques and vintage stores. Artists were showing off their arts or sculptures on the street and the atmosphere was cheerful and chill out. In 2013, I noticed a soft difference, more tourists…

PINK AT CUSHNIE ET OCHS – NYFW
Oh.. New York Fashion Week you surprised me so well! This shoot happened right after attending Cushnie Et Ochs fashion show. I could not dream of a better show. I am not that experienced with Fashion Week yet. If you can remember, I attended two shows last February at the London Fashion Week, including Felder & Felder and Hunter. This February I was in New York and I make sure to be part of it. I am still amazed by the energy that the city takes during fashion weak. You run from one show to the other hopping that you won’t miss it. It is actually a lot of stress,…

Beige in SoHo
Do you know how spontaneous I am? I hate planning. I still try to organize myself a minimum, otherwise nothing would work out, but I need to feel free. I need to travel freely. And I need to keep my mind free in order to be open enough to any situation. I am a very spontaneous person and I am always craving for new adventures or discoveries. That improvised shooting happened during our second day in New York. We woke up in an unfamiliar snowy Brooklyn. The brownstones, those famous brown and brick houses typical from Brooklyn were brought out in the white landscape. Of course it was freezing and…

La Vie en Rose
So that was a special day after almost a week back in New York. Forti and I went for a Sunday brunch with a dear friend of mine, Leticia. First, we took a bus from Flatbush Ave. and the subway towards GreenPoint, in Brooklyn. If you haven’t been to GreenPoint yet, the neighborhood is located up North (Brooklyn) very close to Queens and only a few stops away from Manhattan. It is a lovely area full of cute shops, vintage thrift stores, coffees and restaurants. Also, on Sunday there are a bunch of markets happening in such cool places. Plus, you have an amazing view on the city and its skyline!…
