A R I Z O N A
I am thrilled to share with you my collaboration with PROENZA SCHOULER and their fragrance ARIZONA. I love Proenza Schouler, from the designer duo of Jack and Lazaro and their story to each prêt-à-porter collection. Proenza Schouler is a clothing, accessory and now fragrance New Yorker label. Designers Jack & Lazaro met at Parsons and worked on their final thesis together, which became PROENZA SCHOULER. Proenza Schouler is an incredible brand, which unfortunately in Switzerland is not as big as it’s in the US. You can find a small selection of stunning Proenza Schouler shoes at Jelmoli in Zürich but a very little selection. For spring 2018, Proenza Schouler launched…

Took off to NYC one year ago
I have not really shared more of my voyage in New York, I guess I wanted to keep it for myself. My Instagram feed also changed a bit and I was mostly working or discovering the city, then the blog was not a priority anymore. 14.05.17 was a decisive date for me, that was the day I took off for my internship in New York. Or in other words my dream internship in my dream city. Indeed, I was going to work at one of my favorite label of all time The Row. In addition, to enter the very closed Fashion circle, I was going to spend some time in…

Two weeks left
I cannot believe it, or maybe I don’t want to believe it! I have two weeks left in NYC…what a drama! I don’t feel like leaving at all. Work is great, the team is amazing, the city has still so many places to be explored, and of course my friends here. I know.. what a bitch! Nooo, don’t get me wrong here, I’m happy to go back to my family friends and love Forti, as well as to be back in the comfort of Switzerland and to finally move in Zueeeeri. I mean this is New York City and The Row that I’m talking about! Just my Dream City and…

Brooklyn without Coney wouldn’t be Brooklyn
If you feel like New York is not really Merica, go to Coney Island and you’ll see. Coney Island is located in Brooklyn by the sea where the attractions of the amusement park offer the best view of the beach and the city skyline. Coney Island is the place where Brooklynite would go on weekends to enjoy some hot dogs and roller coasters. Speaking of roller coasters, the ‘Cyclone’ which first opened in 1927 is still working…and believe me I’ve been on it and I was more than surprised by this old one – honestly, I freaked out. The sounds while you are riding literally scare you. I have a…

Does magic only happen during the night?
New York City might not be the City of Lights, but to me it is! Well, let me explain it to you. New York is an amazing and large metropolis famous for its energy and vibes that would bring you anywhere amongst many other things, but the big apple by night is definitely something else. It all starts by those burning evenings when the sun slides itself in between the big allées of skyscrapers, gets so hot onto your layers and bedazzles anyone who would dare to look at it. Usually called, sunset situations. The sky becomes truly orange and everybody opposite gets a bloody sanguine tan. It does not happen every…

The chicest attire for a pool day
So, following my birthday chill day (article), I also wanted to do something special in order to mark the occasion. So, again with Laura and my friend Miranda, we booked a sunbed for three at the pool of the William Vale Hotel for the day. The hotel is located in Williamsburg almost in Greenpoint though..and the view is just superb – the whole Manhattan skyline! However, the pool is not as high as the Westlight, the rooftop bar at the top, but still, the place is a little heaven in Brooklyn. I’ve always wanted to chill one day by a pool on a rooftop in the middle of the city,…

NoMo with my BFF
New York is the city that gives so many opportunities and the energy within which would empower anyone.. it’s also a city where you are surrounded by people all the time..but believe me, you can feel also quite lonely sometimes. I guess it’s a weird thing that might be applied or happening in big cities. As I turned 25 (yes I did!) my best friend Laura came to visit and this was the best birthday gift. We had time to catch up and enjoy ourselves in the big apple. Honestly, I’m so happy that she came, we had a great time and lots of laughs! See you in Zürich baby!…

Sunday be Like
Happy Easter Monday Guys! I hope you are enjoying your long weekend as I do, or if you are luckier than me you will probably be in a week vacation. Anyways, I still have a few outfits and stories from my trip to New York. I also want to update some videos from my stay there, but it takes me hours of editing so I would probably post all my articles from the city first. This day was actually on Valentine’s day, another article will follow up. It was on Sunday, and we had a blast at the Wythe Hotel in Williamsburg. It was such a nice weather that we…

Missing those Streets
One thing that I especially love about New York City is walking downs the streets in SoHo, NoHo and the villages. I mean, of course MidTown and its buildings are impressive and amazing, but you cannot compare these to the atmosphere in souther neighborhoods. This city gives you so much energy. I swear, your days are longer than anywhere else, and you don’t get to sleep much, but it does not matter, cause you are in New York. I think I never get to walk as much as I do when I am in the city. It was a day with a grey sky and I chose to wear…

Sometimes you got to do what you got to do!
New York Fashion Week is one of those moments when you feel outside from the reality. It was even more like a dream. I always dreamt of it and could not believe that I was part of it with all the bloggers that I follow for years. Lacoste Show was one of the shows that I really wished to attend. Unfortunately, I did not get any invitations. I personally don’t know much people in the Fashion and PR industry in New York. I knew the location of the event (Spring Studio) and knew its time as well. It was Saturday 13th February at 10a.m.. I took the subway cause the weather…
